Who We Are

KIPP Delta Public Schools is a growing network of KIPP charter schools offering a free, college-preparatory education to children in the Arkansas Delta. We serve over 1,400 students across six schools in Helena, Blytheville, and Forrest City, Arkansas. KIPP Delta Public Schools are providing a choice to families in the Delta seeking an excellent public education for their children.

KIPP Delta Public Schools - What We Do

What We Do

KIPP builds a partnership among parents, students, and teachers that puts learning first. By providing outstanding educators, more time in school, and a strong culture of achievement, KIPP is helping all students climb the mountain to and through college. KIPP Delta Public Schools currently serves elementary, middle, and high school students in Helena-West Helena, Arkansas, fourth through tenth grades in Blytheville, Arkansas, and fifth grade in Forrest City, Arkansas.

Why It Matters

Every day, KIPP students across the nation are proving that demographics do not define destiny. More than 90 percent of our students are from low-income families and eligible for the federal free or reduced-price meals program, and 92 percent are African American or Latino. Nationally, more than 90 percent of KIPP middle school students have graduated high school, and more than 80 percent of KIPP alumni have gone on to college.
