Dear KIPP Delta families,
I am writing to you this evening with a heavy heart. We learned today of the passing of our beloved Ms. Sherlona Riley.
The entire KIPP Delta leadership and staff extend our heartfelt sympathies to Ms. Riley’s family and to all their friends. We will miss her very much, and her memory will live on in our hearts. Ms. Riley had been an educator since 2001, working at KIPP Delta at various times as both an elementary science teacher and an assistant principal. A Helena native, she was determined to show love to the students from her hometown and help them achieve academic success. Whenever a child was in need, she was there for them.
We ask everyone to support Ms. Riley’s family, and one another, as a community of love, understanding, and support. We have counselors available for all students, and if your child needs support, please contact Ms. Leslie Galloway at 870-816-5388.
